Such a great honour for our director Dr Xenia I. Loizidou being the moderator- as the Ambassador for the Coast in the Mediterranean for 2019- of High Level Panel discussion that took place in Naples.
The Ministerial segment of #COP21Napoli #BarcelonaConvention was on the 4th of December 2019. Eminent speakers took part in this High-Level Panel discussion on “Protecting the marine environment and coastal region of the Mediterranean: game-changing action for sustainability”.
The #COP21Napoli High-Level Panel approached the issues pertaining to sustainability in the Mediterranean from four angles: marine litter; biodiversity and marine protected areas; climate change and the blue economy.
