SAVEMEDCOSTS partners visited the Punta della Vipera Roman Fish tank which was constructed between 0-100 AD and was used for fish culture and as “water gardens” to embellish villas of wealthy Romans. The fish tank can be used as sea level marker for sea level rise.
SAVEMEDCOASTS partners got together in Rome to discuss the preliminary results and outputs of the first six months of the project and decide on next steps. ISOTECH presented the Stakeholder perceptions on SLR in Italy, Greece and Cyprus that were recorded through an online Questionnaire, small group meetings and face to face interviews.

We had a very successful small group meeting at Chalastra Thessaloniki for the SAVEMEDCOASTS project. The meeting was hosted by Axios Delta Informational Center based at Chalastra. Stakeholders from the local and regional area were invited and discussed their gaps, needs and actions to be implemented with regards to Seal Level Rise.
