The project will support the development of action plans and the definition of programmes of measures for the coordinated implementation of the MSFD in the Mediterranean.

MARLISCO “MARine Litter in Europe Seas: Social AwarenesS and CO-Responsibility” is an FP7 Science-in-Society project, which aims to provide a series of mechanisms for bringing key stakeholders for marine litter together.
The main objective of IRIS-SES is the development of a new concept and related decision-making tools to support integrated environmental monitoring within the MSFD framework, in order to better manage human activities and their effects in EU marine waters, specifically in the Mediterranean and Black Seas.
