ISOTECH joins the Venice International Boat Show with SeaClear1 & 2.0 to shape the future of marine robotics!

On 29 May 2026, ISOTECH will participate in the 6th International Workshop on Marine Litter Monitoring, Removal and Blue Circular Economy, taking place at the Venice International Boat Show at the Arsenale di Venezia, Torre di Porta Nuova, Venice.

The workshop will bring together leading European projects, researchers, policy-makers, industry representatives and local stakeholders working on marine litter monitoring, clean-up technologies and blue circular economy solutions across Europe and the Mediterranean.

The first part of the workshop will focus on marine litter monitoring, removal technologies and blue circular economy solutions, featuring projects and organisations working on innovative approaches to tackle marine litter across Europe and the Mediterranean.

As part of the programme, ISOTECH will lead the second and third parts of the workshop, linked to the Horizon Europe SeaClear2.0 project, which is developing robotic and participatory solutions to tackle marine litter across Europe and the Mediterranean.

The second part, the “Policy Roundtable: advancing European policies to combat marine litter”, will explore how European and national policies can better support marine litter prevention, management and innovative technologies, building on recommendations and insights developed through SeaClear2.0.

The third part, the “Marine Litter in Venice: Participatory Stakeholder Workshop”, will engage local stakeholders in identifying the main sources and impacts of marine litter in Venice, discussing current challenges, and collaboratively prioritising practical, site-specific solutions for improved marine litter management based on the SeaClear2.0 participatory approach.

The day will conclude with the fourth part of the programme, the SeaClear2.0 Interactive Pilot Showcase at the Venice International Boat Show, where SeaCat will demonstrate marine litter identification and removal in the Arsenal basin for visitors and invited stakeholders.
