Environmental conditions can have a significant impact on people’s health, comfort and quality of life, both indoors and within the wider community. Factors such as poor indoor air quality, noise, air pollution and traffic emissions can create health concerns and affect everyday living and working conditions.
ISOTECH provides scientific and technical support to assess and address these environmental challenges. Our work includes indoor air quality monitoring and assessment, investigation of potential pollution sources, evaluation of ventilation and HVAC systems, environmental measurements, and the development of measures to improve environmental conditions. We also support communities in addressing environmental disturbances, including through advocacy services during public consultations.
ISOTECH’s scientific team undertook an investigation of the indoor air quality at Wargaming’s headquarters in Nicosia. The building consists of enclosed offices without windows, served by mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
The work included a detailed assessment of the building’s HVAC system, investigation of internal and external sources of potential indoor air pollution, on-site measurements of predefined pollutants in accordance with World Health Organization guidelines and international standards, and recommendations for technical solutions to optimise air quality in the working environment.
