Description: ISOTECH conducted a comprehensive workplace noise assessment at the Elysee Irrigation manufacturing facility in Cyprus to evaluate employees’ exposure to occupational noise and support compliance with national occupational health and safety legislation. The study involved on-site inspections and acoustic measurements at 45 monitoring points covering 35 workstations under representative operating conditions. Daily and, where applicable, weekly noise exposure levels were calculated and assessed against regulatory limits to identify potential risks to employees’ hearing. Based on the findings, ISOTECH provided technical recommendations to improve workplace safety, including the mandatory use of hearing protection in high-noise areas, appropriate safety signage, regular compliance inspections and employee training on noise-related risks and protective measures.
