Indoor air quality (IAQ) is critical for maintaining healthy living and working environments. Poor indoor air quality can lead to respiratory problems, allergies, and other health issues. Isotech’s work in IAQ focuses on assessing, improving, and maintaining air quality in buildings, from residential properties to commercial and industrial facilities.
ISOTECH’s Scientific team has undertaken the investigation of Wargaming HQ building indoor air quality. The buildings consist of enclosed offices with no windows, which are served by mechanical ventilation and air conditioning system, a fairly new concept to the Cyprus Building Construction landscape. The action plan of the project includes detailed assessment of the buildings HVAC system, investigation of internal and external sources of potential indoor air pollution, on the spot measurements of pre-defined pollutants following World Health Organisations guidelines and International Standards and suggestions of technical solutions for the optimisation of air quality conditions in working environment.
